PAINTING COURSES 2012
PAINTING HOLIDAY AT ARISAIG HOUSE
7TH – 14TH MAY 2012 £1200 per person
5 days painting tuition with Penelope Anstice
7 days full-board accommodation
The week would include 5 full days painting tuition. We would hope to paint outside as much as possible – there are wonderful coastal scenes in every direction and the extensive garden and surroundings of Arisaig House offer great painting opportunities as well.
Non-painting partners are welcome. There are many activities to enjoy in the area including golf, tennis, kayaking, walking and boat trips.
This holiday offers the chance to paint at your own pace and in a small group with plenty of personal tuition and the chance to experiment and push your painting practise forward.
I have many years teaching experience in both watercolour and oil painting; painters in either medium are welcome.
All levels of painting are catered for and if you have a bit of experience already this would be a chance to hone your skills and perhaps take them in a different direction.
Some materials will be provided and a full materials list and sample itinerary will be available on application.
The atmosphere at Arisaig House is relaxed and comfortable. After a day’s painting we gather for a drink at the bar and then have dinner around the large dining room table where conversation is always lively. Sarah, our hostess produces fabulous meals like magic and uses a lot of local produce; seafood and home-grown veg.
Hopefully, after your week at Arisaig you will leave with some inspired paintings and great memories…
